Carey Olsen Bermuda Limited is a market-leading full-service law firm with a global perspective. Its lawyers work alongside major international law firms and their clients and include a number of the largest Bermuda-based global insurance and reinsurance businesses and insurance intermediaries, as well as other global financial institutions with offices in the jurisdiction such as banks, trust companies, accountancy firms and hedge funds.The firm was established in 2017 by managing partner Michael Hanson, in association with leading international offshore firm Carey Olsen. The firm advises financial institutions, corporations and private clients on the laws of Bermuda, the British Virgin Islands, the Cayman Islands, Guernsey and Jersey law from a network of nine international offices. The Bermuda office employs 60 staff, including more than 30 lawyers.
