(BDA) and has more than 20 years of financial services experience, including three years as vice president of Citi Hedge Fund Services for Citigroup, New York, senior roles with Butterfield Fulcrum Group as director of business development, and with HSBC Alternative Fund Services as client relationship manager in New York and Hong Kong. Sean works with industry focus groups to create strategies to help businesses set up and grow in Bermuda. Sean is also responsible for the Asset Management and Trust & Private Client sectors within the BDA’s business development team. Sean holds a BA (Hons) degree from Queen’s University, Kingston, Ontario.
The event took the format of an interactive update and discussion highlighting key developments in Bermuda’s economy and new opportunities for UK-based investors and businesses.
The aim of the meeting being to equip Bermuda Society members and guests with key information to share with clients about Bermuda’s unique value proposition. Members and guests will have the opportunity to meet with and hear from Sean who will share:
– an overview of trends, etc. in the Bermuda economy over the last 12-18 months,
– an overview of the actions that the Bermuda Business Development
Agency is taking to support and promote the various opportunities on the
island for businesses and investors, and
– some practical examples of new business growth and how the BDA concierge service works to encourage such growth.
